Connecting Grids

Connecting Grids are the connection points and relationship between 3D Webs (3D Communities, 3D Buildings, 3D Things). Connecting Grids define the three dimensional position (x,y,z), rotation (x,y,z), and scaling (x,y,z) for: 3D Buildings and 3D Things added to 3D Communities, as well as 3D Things added to 3D Buildings.

The Connecting Grid also helps define an instance of a 3D Web, so that multiple copies of the same 3D Webs can be added to a 3D Scene. For example: placing 4 chairs around a table, each instance of the chair has its own position, rotation, and scaling available, yet they are all using the same chair 3D Thing definition.
